The purpose of this role is to provide financial transparency, robust planning and to support business leaders in managing their budgets.
The position holds full responsibility for SG&A Controlling for region EU companies and related sales subsidiaries.
This includes providing accurate data, actionable insights, and partnering directly with functional leaders such as Sales, Marketing, and People & Culture to enable effective budget oversight and informed decision-making.
Moreover, the focus is on delivering clear, accurate and timely reporting of FTE and personnel costs for Production/Supply Chain and Service.
Key responsibilities
- Budget & Forecast: Prepare sales subs, FTE, SG&A and personnel cost budgets and forecasts.
- Month-End: Work in close collaboration with BSC team to ensure timely and accurate cost bookings.
- Reporting: Deliver monthly reports with variance analysis. Analyze trends and derive actions if needed. Executing and coordinating related controlling and reporting processes including preparation and reviews of bookings / accruals etc.
- Compliance: Maintain compliance with relevant standards for sales subsidiaries, SG&A and personnel costs.
- Intercompany charges: Validate and oversee intercompany charges, including for the sales subsidiaries, ensuring adherence with relevant policies.
- Processes: Drive continuous improvements in relevant processes, automation of reports / analysis, various projects and special tasks around the sales subsidiaries, SG&A and personnel costs related topics
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Review transactions in SAP that require clarification and provide insights for decisions.
- Finance-related education and/or qualification
- Fluency in English
- 3-5 years of experience in similar controlling positions
- IT reporting tools knowledge (Cognos & TM1) is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams
