Portfolio Deployment Manager Spouted Pouches & Bag-in-Box Europe
Drive successful packaging innovation in Europe by leading go-to-market execution, optimizing portfolio performance, and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact product launches, customer value, and sustained growth.
New Product Launch Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for new product introductions, ensuring alignment with Europe and corporate objectives.
- As part of Marketing Team Europe, lead the launch timeline management, coordinating with national marketing managers, R&D, operations, and commercial teams to meet key milestones.
- Ensure new product deployments align with market demands, customer needs, and business goals
Product Positioning & Readiness
- Define and communicate the value proposition of new packaging solutions, highlighting differentiation and competitive advantages.
- Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure operational and production readiness.
- Support frontline marketing and sales with messaging, training materials, and go-to-market collateral.
Portfolio & Profitability Management
- Drive portfolio optimization, ensuring the right mix of products to support business growth and customer demands.
- Conduct profitability assessments, including pricing strategy development and guidance for regional markets.
- Provide insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to influence product roadmap decisions.
Resource & Risk Management
- Ensure the availability of resources (tools, equipment, personnel) for smooth product deployment.
- Identify and mitigate risks such as supply chain disruptions and technical challenges.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including production efficiency and quality metrics.
Stakeholder Communication & Knowledge Transfer
- Act as the primary interface between development, operations, and commercial teams to align objectives.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and risk mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
- Lead training and knowledge-sharing initiatives for regional teams, including marketing, sales, finance, and service.
Product Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Support product quality assurance by coordinating action plans for complex issue resolution at regional and market levels.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive product enhancements and ensure long-term portfolio success.
- Technical or business background (engineering, project manager, product manager or similar roles) with experience in B2B food and beverage packaging.
- Strong market knowledge with insights into packaging trends, customer expectations, and competitive dynamics.
- Solid business and financial acumen, including experience in profitability assessments and pricing strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, bridging technical and commercial teams.
- Project management expertise, with experience in product lifecycle management, cross-functional collaboration, and risk mitigation.
