 Service Controlling Specialist Europe
 
Act as a trusted finance business partner for our EU Service organization, transforming data into actionable insights and driving initiatives that strengthen profitability and operational excellence.
 
Key responsibilities
 
  • Monitor performance, profitability and key financial KPIs of the Service business.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, monthly reporting and performance analysis.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Partner with Service Managers to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, financial processes and internal controls.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting, planning and controlling processes.
  • Timely performance of assigned controls (e.g. internal controls) tasks in accordance with procedures in place. Prepare requested financial information for disclosure in the related statements.

 

You bring these skills, experience & education
 
  • University degree (Masters is an advantage)
  • 6+ years of experience in Finance Controlling, including Sales Controlling, Service Controlling, or comparable business partnering roles.
  • Ability to take business and financial data, identify the underlying drivers, generate insights, and translate into concrete actions together with Service leadership.
  • Able to influence senior stakeholders, challenge existing assumptions and approaches, and hold the business accountable for agreed actions.
  • Able to independently drill from a KPI into the underlying transactions/bookings, understand what is driving the number, and verify correct accounting/allocation.
  • Takes ownership of the Service performance trends, spots issues and opportunities before being asked, follows them through, and drives resolution with the business
  • Excellent skills in different SAP modules (CO, MM, FI etc.).
  • General knowledge of SAP BW3, SAP BH3, Cognos, TM1, Qlikview & QlikSense is preferred
  • Proficiency in English
