Procurement Specialist
- Prepare Request for Quotation (RFQ) as per order of Supervisor / Buyer and follow up to the vendor
- Identify and evaluate sourcing potential (cost, lead times & Quantity Allocations etc.)
- Bundling the needs to optimize cost, inventory and meet delivery targets.
- Strategic supplier management: selection, qualification, evaluation.
- Secure all contracts with key suppliers, ensuring contracts (and any subsequent claims) are managed proactively.
- Key Focus Area: Indirect Spend (Maintenance, repairs and utilities).
- FrameWorks- Methods of Savings and Objectives.
- Effective and proactive liaison with other departments as necessary to forecast plans to meet purchase deadlines to the bundling of demands necessary.
- Reporting as necessary to the Line Manager as per business requirements.
- Converting PR to PO & send the PO to respective Vendors.
- Monitoring Order Confirmations with current delivery information.
- Support the direct line manager on operation projects as needed.
- English communication skills both oral and writing
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of business administration, Bachelor of Commerce/science, Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years Direct/Indirect procurement experience.
- SAP interface, Excel Experience is required.
- English language is a must.
