IT Specialist
Provision, maintenance and support of the site-based IT/OT system as well as its network connections in office and production. Ensure the agreed end-to-end service quality and IT security fundamentals. Introduction of the department users to new systems and technologies.
- Manage logistics, provisioning, error analysis and troubleshooting of incidents involving SIG standard IT Workplace hardware and software.
- Deliver the expected quality in the overall (end-to-end) service provisioning, according to IT Service Management processes.
- Advise on SIG standard IT Workplace hardware and software for communication and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with basic information security measures and impart knowledge about them to users.
- Assign authorizations according to defined workflows, to a limited extent.
- Manage campus cabling (copper and fiber optics), including transfer points to external networks.
- Troubleshoot the wired and wireless campus network, as well as perform basic analysis towards the central components.
- Administer and maintain the required secure-area physical infrastructure for the reliable operation of IT systems, in accordance with ISO 27001.
- Understand the structure and interrelationships of production-relevant technical IT/OT systems, in order to execute IT Service Management processes with the appropriate priority, considering business impact and urgency.
- Participate in infrastructure projects or work packages at the site, ensuring alignment of assigned tasks with the internal and external parties involved.
- Associate's degree or 2 to 4 years of vocational technical training (preferred)
- Specialized skill training or certification to meet the technical needs of the position.
- 2-3 years of experience in similar functions.
- English (Advance): able to communicate within a global IT organization.
- ITIL: understanding of IT Service Management fundamentals.
