Operational Tech Trainer
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
Responsible for the effective training on the operation, changeovers and minor autonomous maintenance within the Amerigo production cell to execute the Production Schedule and ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Conduct on-the-job technical training as the “subject matter expert” including equipment safety methods following production standards for assigned employees.
- Responsible to demonstrate and train on “Best Practices” to assist and provide direction to employees in the production area.
- Assist with training documentation and revisions to SOP’s and/or applicable work instructions.
- Able to provide recurring training as needed to employees with the ability to identify additional training opportunities as needed.
- Must be adaptable to various personalities to be able to successfully convey training processes.
- Ability to flex work schedule to cover multiple shifts and hours
- Able to communicate effectively to provide feedback to employees and management concerning employee’s comprehension of training.
- Must know Microsoft Office software to assist in documenting processes and creating necessary instructions.
- Must be a positive example to fellow employees to encourage professional behavior and employee engagement.
- Ability to perform all current Amerigo operations as well as be involved in new equipment compliance for production.
- Able to complete and train employees on required paperwork for the Amerigo cell.
- Ability to update Amerigo tracking log and train employees of proper use of documented data.
- Able to interact with various departments (maintenance, management, scheduling, HR, etc.).
- Assist in PM’s for the Amerigo, as needed.
- Should have a quest for knowledge of equipment and processes for continuous improvement.
- Knowledge and Practice of GMP.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or G.E.D required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Certifications & Licenses:
- Ability to lead a team to work safely and follow Regulatory and Company Policies and Guidelines.
- Technical &/or mechanical skills required
- Positive attitude, cooperative nature, and strong leadership
- Focused on details and accuracy of reporting
- Able to communicate clearly and decisively to the team members and to next shift
- Good understanding of product lines
- Background with leadership experience in technical fields is required.
- Must have been in their current role for six (6) months.
- Met or exceeded performance expectations on their last review.
- Be clear of any written warnings for the last six (6) months.
- Be clear from probation or suspension for the last six (6) months
