System Technology Manager
Technically support the service operation in the AM_N region, managing the facilities, maintaining the conservation of the asset, managing all technical documentation, updates, Must Points and all technical aspects related to the SIG Combibloc lines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technically support the service operation in the AM_N region, maintaining asset conservation, and overseeing all technical documentation, updates, Must Points, and technical aspects related to SIG Combibloc lines. Serve as the technical link with the GE&A team at SIG Germany to ensure the management and resolution of chronic issues, promote process improvements, support cluster growth, and manage crises that impact SIG's business.
- Link with the global GE&A expert group to discuss improvements and the technical needs of the cluster.
- Coordinate technical activities from the technical support team (FSEII, FSEIII, and experts) for customers effectively, involving the principal stakeholders, ensuring thorough analyses, effective solutions, and sustainable outcomes. Precisely and accurately direct communications regarding solutions and results.
- Support the execution of the ICCM flow, assisting in the analysis of all complaint aspects for generating a history of problem-solving to prevent future issues.
- Be responsible for communicating with the customer during complaint investigations and critical failures, ensuring proper information flow and adherence to written processes.
- Elaborate processes and flows for problem-solving, writing clear and objective reports for stakeholders, and informing the organization about decisions and technical-commercial aspects.
- Support the development of solutions, services, and products to meet the existing demand in the South American regional market.
- Follow up on tests of new products, packaging, machines, and technologies, producing technical reports and participating in corporate validation.
- Promote team development through actions aligned with the strategic planning of the department and the company.
- Support the quality teams (factory and service) in investigating quality issues and developing new packaging solutions.
- Perform preliminary analyses and validate complaints based on machine data, sample analysis, field visits, and activation of the global team, minimizing miscommunication and ensuring the correct flow of information.
- Manage technical documentation and ensure the installation of improvements, Must Points, and machine upgrades for SIG lines.
- Promote the cluster’s technical knowledge through the communication of procedures and new technologies according to SIG Germany's guidelines.
- Provide installation supervisors to the PAMs for successful installation and commissioning of SIG equipment.
YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Chemical Engineering
- Experience: At least 6 technical experience and 3-5 years management experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Aseptic, food & beverage packaging
