Service Project Account Manager
Salary: $120k-$130k
Summary:
To carry out project and team management to ensure that all criteria and processes required for installation, commissioning and start-up of a filling line and its peripherals are in accordance with the requirements of SIG.
To manage costs, deadlines and quality deliverables for each project, ensuring customer satisfaction and technical acceptance of the lines.
To generate a development plan and continuous improvement of the installation and optimization processes of machines and equipment installed.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment orders: ensure that all information and project requirements have been properly planned to execute the purchase of the equipment (internal and external). Search for the best commercial conditions and delivery times. Control the arrival of the equipment.
Planning: carry out the kick-off meeting internally and with the client to clarify the obligations and responsibilities of each involved. Revalidate the infrastructure and utilities of the customers’ plant and propose improvements already at this stage, if necessary. Validate the layout and time schedule. Follow the documentation and updates generated at this stage to ensure that the customer is aware of all points raised and informed.
- Execution: Visit the customer together with the After Sales representative (SAM) to define resources, validate the utilities infrastructure and make advance decisions for regularization in time before installation. Approve the equipment and customer registration in SAP. Coordinate the import and / or overhaul of equipment to meet deadlines.
- Installation process: control & monitor all phases of the project, ensuring resources and documentation, compliance with the time schedule as well as supporting the team in case of critical and emergency situations.
- Delivery: Analyze the project's open points report (action plan) and hand over to After Sales. Analyze the line performance report after start up and prepare the "Filler Line Deployment" (Accounting document that confirms the project's implementation phases at the customer). Analyze and approve the capitalization of the installed filling line. Request customer feedback on the quality of services in the project area through a specific satisfaction survey for the customer's Plant Manager or Project Manager.
- Continuous improvement process (lessons learned): assess the status and identify opportunities for process improvement; lay-out; suppliers; infrastructure and equipment. Seek to eliminate all project open points within 3 months of project delivery. Hold a closing meeting with the customer team and the person responsible for After Sales.
- Act proactively and sustainably, aiming to be aware of the environmental impacts arising from the activity and seeking to minimize them, as well as being committed to the environmental policy established by the company to ensure compliance with the SIG Combibloc standards.
- Comply with and work according to Good Manufacturing Practice rules to ensure the production of safe packaging for customers and consumers, as well as correctly perform all quality procedures under their responsibility to ensure compliance with SIG Combibloc standards.
You bring these skills, experience & education
- Three to five years related experience plus a Bachelor’s degree in engineering related to Capital Equipment Management (Mechanical, Electrical and/or correlated areas).
- Masters degree desirable, in Business Management and/or Manufacturing and/or Projects development.
- Ideal having a formal training in project management, PMO.
- AutoCAD, Microsoft office, SAP Masterdata, Microsoft Project
- Spanish fluency preferred
