Order Center Representative

SUMMARY OF ROLE

COMPENSATION: $55,000- $65,000

The Order Center Representative is responsible for maintaining customer accounts, timely responses to inquiries, and satisfactory resolution of outstanding issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage customer accounts to deliver exceptional service and grow the business with flexible packaging films.
• Respond to customer communications by phone or email to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Quote charges to customers for goods and services based on approved pricing structure.
• Process purchase orders for delivery.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams such as Commercial, Planners, Manufacturing, Shipping, and Traffic departments to execute timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with Finance Department regarding related credit requests.
• Monitor trial requests to provide best-in-class service.
• Probe customers with questions to identify and define opportunities.
• Collect and identify order discrepancies, customer complaints, and business opportunities to resolve issues and better address challenges.
• Enter, correct, and compile customer account profiles in database to track customer trends and company information.
• Provide continuous feedback to internal and external customers
• Run monthly reports to track customer accounts and open orders.
• Track departmental metrics to measure success and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Serve as the back-up for designated team members for proper coverage.

YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• 3-5 years of customer service experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred.
• Proficiency with the Baan/LN ERP system preferred but not required.
