Global Supply Planning Manager- BIB & SP
SUMMARY OF ROLE
COMPENSATION: $120,000-$130,000
The Global Supply Planning Manager will manage global supply planning from production including inventory and will drive supply network optimization for SIG’s Bag in Box and Spouted Pouch function, in close collaboration with global demand side and the regional plants supply chain.
Hybrid in Northlake, IL.

- Lead and coordinate end-to-end supply planning activities across the global supply chain, ensuring alignment with logistics, manufacturing, and supply chain stakeholders to drive efficient, compliant, and sustainable operations.
- Optimize global production footprint and capacity utilization across the BiB & SP business, ensuring the right products are produced in the right locations to meet demand and cost targets.
- Establish and drive standardized, global supply planning processes, tools, and governance to ensure consistency, scalability, and operational excellence in day-to-day execution.
- Balance customer demand with supply chain capabilities by partnering closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring high service levels while meeting cost, inventory, and working capital objectives.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including OTIF, lead time, conversion costs, and inventory, to support overall supply network optimization and business performance.
- Provide strategic direction and data-driven insights to support global supply network decisions, including scenario planning, trade-off analysis, and executive-level escalations when needed.
- Develop and maintain global capacity planning models and overviews to optimize production networks, material flow, and inventory positioning.
- Identify capacity requirements and support timely decision-making related to capacity expansions, footprint strategy, and production allocation.
- Drive continuous improvement by reducing complexity within production and logistics networks, standardizing processes, and implementing tools to enhance planning efficiency.
- Contribute to the harmonization of supply chain processes and tools across all end-product manufacturing divisions, ensuring alignment and integration across the broader organization.
YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in supply planning or end-to-end supply chain roles, ideally in a global environment
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes including demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP
- Proven experience working within the packaging industry is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP APO/IBP)
- Strong Excel skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and regions
- Ability to manage complexity, prioritize under pressure, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
