FP&A Senior Analyst

 

The FP&A Senior Analyst position will be responsible for a variety of financial duties surrounding the planning, analysis and reporting functions, this includes periodic reporting of financial results, forecasts, the annual budget process, 5-year plan as well as provide finance support to the business (sales, marketing, supply chain, compliance, etc.).

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the preparation of 5yp, budget & Forecast ( at P&L and Balance sheet level) figures and submission through the corporate reporting tools (Cognos/Tm1) as well as preparation of corporate presentations for top management.
  • Prepare specific reports on net working capital (receivables and payables) for budgeting, forecasting and month-end close.. 
  • Prepare reports for non filler capex tracking and forecasting.
  • Support in the analysis and reporting of current financial results and variations against forecasts, budget and the previous year through explanatory bridges as well as support on the preparation of the MEC presentation for top management.
  • Support in the Preparation of the necessary information for the month-end closing (MEC)  and planning processes mainly related to price, volume, mix and other variations on revenue and EBITDA, as well as the balance sheet balance variations for Cash flow reports.
  • Support in net price control for the USA entity by customer and product hierarchy, and in specific cases by brand/sku (Gross Price, Rebates & Net prices).
  • Assists the FP&A Manager with development and implementation, as well as ongoing maintenance of financial systems and reports within planning repositories (mainly focused in Cognos/Tm1 inputs).
  • Prepare internal reports (e.g. sales mix and margin) to track, communicate and drive actions with senior management.
  • Leverage Excel, Business Intelligence, and BH1 software to generate, manipulate and summarize data and be comfortable communicating findings and analysis with finance and operational team members
  • Participate in the PCT approvals (customer business case/project valuation) in conjunction with the sales team to ensure that the financial model KPIs meet financial requirements, while obtaining the necessary approvals to ensure compliance.


You bring these skills, experience & education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • Minimum six (6) years experience in corporate FP&A
  • Able to calculate full profit and loss forcasting and balance sheets
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications- primarily Excel, advanced Excel analytic functions such as: SUMIF, VLOOKUP, nested functions, complex pivot tables, macros, etc
  • Ability to work with data, create financial models and ad-hoc reports preferable MS Power BI or Qlikview.
