Project Manager Indirect Spend

 

Make an active contribution to securing and further developing our systems and procurement processes within Indirect Procurement. This role aims to align project management practices across procurement, with standardized tracking, performance monitoring, and reporting; centralize oversight of project portfolios (to ensure effective prioritization, resource allocation, and alignment with objectives.

 

Key responsibilities
 
  • Develop and enforce project management standards and best practices across procurement functions, incl. global reporting standards and alignment of processes
  • Define and implement standardized reporting and tracking frameworks for consistent project oversight
  • Align project processes and methodologies across regions and business units to ensure coherence
  • Perform category strategy compliance methodology and review
  • Lead indirect procurement cost take out initiative through governance, and overarching support in strategy design and negotiation implmentation
  • Provide centralized support for special projects, including stakeholder management and resource allocation
 
You bring these skills, experience & education
 
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, ideally within procurement or supply chain; experience in sourcing or supplier management is a plus
  • Strong capability in developing and communicating project management strategies and best practices tailored to procurement functions
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes and workflows, with an emphasis on maintaining high data quality standards
  • Familiarity with the packaging or similar industry, including knowledge of key players, strategic priorities, and risk factors in industrial settings
  • Excellent team collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, with strong proficiency in English (C level) for both oral and written communication
