Operations Transformation
As Head of Program Management-Operations Transformation, you will drive the identification, development, and execution of cost take-out and efficiency initiatives across SIG’s global Operations, Assembly, Quality and Procurement network.
The role drives consistent governance from idea generation to execution, while ensuring full alignment with Finance for accurate validation of P&L impact. Additionally, the position supports the deployment and implementation of new organizational design within Global Operations, making sure that processes, roles, and performance standards are aligned across factories and regions.
The position can be based at SIG’s headquarters in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, Switzerland, or at any of our global locations.

Program Governance & Pipeline Management
- Build and manage the global pipeline of cost take-out, efficiency, and productivity initiatives across all SIG factories and regions.
- Lead the stage-gate governance from idea generation to execution, ensuring business case robustness, prioritization, and benefit realization.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Finance) to identify synergies and unlock performance improvement opportunities ensuring synchronization with R&D and internal stakeholders.
Performance Tracking & Financial Alignment
- Establish and maintain standardized reporting and dashboards for program progress, savings, and risk tracking.
- Work closely with Finance to validate savings methodologies and ensure traceability of benefits to the P&L.
- Provide regular executive reporting to Operations and Finance leadership on status, forecast, and gap-closure plans.
Culture & Organization Design Development
- Support the rollout of the new Operations organizational model, clarifying roles, processes, and interfaces.
- Facilitate change management, communication, and capability building for successful adoption across plants and regions.
- Partner with HR, Operations Leaders, and Transformation Office to ensure governance continuity and sustainability.
Continuous Improvement & Best Practice Transfer
- Identify and scale best practices across regions and factories.
- Promote Lean and digital enablers to sustain efficiency improvements.
- Foster a performance culture focused on results, collaboration, and accountability.
- Education: University degree or equivalent; master’s degree in engineering, economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Operations, Program Management, or Transformation roles within industrial manufacturing.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement processes.
- Proven track record in leading complex cost-out and efficiency programs across multiple sites and regions.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in P&L benefit validation.
- Strategic thinking and systems perspective with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to influence across senior levels and diverse cultures.
- Resilience and adaptability in dynamic environments with a change leadership and coaching mindset.
- Six Sigma Black Belt or PMP certification preferred.
