We are looking for a Global Assembly Engineer to strengthen our Global Production Engineering Team at our site in Neuhausen am Rheinfall.

Within SIG, SIG allCap AG is responsible for the worldwide production of innovative plastic closures for carton beverage packaging. Our production facilities manufacture high-volume series, supporting customers around the globe with cutting-edge technologies.

 
Key responsibilities
  • Specifying, planning and sourcing assembly and test systems in close collaboration with Global Project Teams, R&D, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management and Quality Management.
  • Conducting design reviews and monitoring project progress.
  • Planning, executing and documenting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
  • Supporting production sites during equipment installation, commissioning and start-up.
  • Delivering technical training for operating and maintenance personnel.
  • Planning and implementing maintenance and servicing activities.
  • Acting as Engineer in Charge, providing technical support to production sites and managing spare parts activities.
  • Taking ownership of defined KPIs and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance.
You bring these skills, experience & education
  • Degree in Automation Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
  • 3–5 years of experience in automation, special-purpose machinery or assembly systems.
  • Experience with commissioning, FAT/SAT activities and technical training.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently while taking ownership and responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 25%).
