Key Account Manager
Location: Toronto Greater Area Work Model: Remote + Travel Compensation: 115-125K Canadian Dollars + 30% Bonus
Are you a strategic sales professional with a passion for building long-term partnerships and driving sustainable growth? SIG, a global leader in innovative packaging solutions, is seeking a Key Account Manager to lead and expand our customer base across the USA.
In this pivotal role, you'll be the face of SIG for key customers—cultivating relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring a best-in-class experience by collaborating across internal teams (Supply Chain, Technical Service, Finance, and Marketing). You'll take ownership of your accounts' full P&L and be directly accountable for achieving ambitious volume and value targets.
- Be the trusted partner: Serve as the primary commercial contact for key accounts, developing deep understanding of their goals and delivering value-driven solutions.
- Deliver growth: Identify, pitch, and close business opportunities within existing and new accounts—leveraging SIG’s cutting-edge packaging, equipment, and service portfolio.
- Own the numbers: Manage day-to-day sales operations and deliver on budgeted KPIs (volume, revenue, gross profit).
- Collaborate to win: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Drive strategic expansion: Lead the development of new business pipelines, providing key market insights to influence strategic direction and go-to-market initiatives.
- Negotiate with confidence: Lead contract development and project delivery with a solution-oriented mindset and a strong commercial focus.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in professional sales or business development—ideally within the food & beverage, packaging, or related industries.
- A proven track record of managing complex accounts and delivering strong commercial results.
- Strong business acumen and experience navigating and influencing mid- to senior-level stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, SAP, and BW systems.
