Quality Account Manager Spain and Europe (f/m/d)

For our market area Spain and Europe, we are looking for a Quality Account Manager Iberia (m/f/d).
The primary function of this role is to ensure a timely and appropriate handling of customer complaints while considering any impact on SIG and to work proactively on quality issues together with our customers
- Customer contact point for all customer complaints as well as for all related quality topics including preliminary judgement of customer complaints; coordination of all customer complaint investigation activities including participation, if necessary, ensuring to close the complaints in time
- Administration of customer complaints in SAP
- Act as Complaint Owner primarily for BENELUX (85% of work time) but also for France and other European countries (15 % of work time) with responsibility for aseptic tests of newly installed fillers
- Support to customers and to our commercial department in all topics relating to the aseptic filling technology acting as advisor and consultant towards customers installations
- Support and definition of specific in- and external training programs / coaching to in- and external customers in quality control and quality assurance procedures
- Key contact to the SIG headquarters in all quality related issues by working closely together with SIG colleagues in other countries and, if necessary, travel activity to assist them in quality issues
- Feedback towards our internal technical department by driving the continuous improvement spirit
- Communication point for board / structure change program
- Participation in the planning & rollout of new boards and structures at customer sites as well as handling of customer information requests, e.g. documents, questionnaires etc.
- Facilitation / Hosting of Customer Quality Audits
- Minimum three years' work experience in a similar position
- Experience in food processing and packaging industry
- Knowledge of food microbiology and technology in the aseptic food industry; knowledge in aseptic filling systems (carton bottle filling, food packaging) would be a 'nice to have'
- Knowledge in quality, assurance and management ISO 9001, IFS rules, BRC
- Knowledge in quality problem solving tools (analytical background, route cause analysis, defining corrective measures - 8D procedure)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- SAP – ICCM System, expert knowledge level
- French and Dutch/Flemish - native Speaker or C2 level required
- English C2 level required
- Willingness to travel - travel share approximately 50 % (40 % in BENELUX and 10 % in the rest of Europe)
