Key responsibilities
- Driving the constant development of the coating equipment portfolio by optimizing the balance between performance, quality and cost efficiency
- Identifying and verifying new and innovative technologies, creating reliable technology benchmarks
- Leading the transfer of innovations into industrial environment (as well as innovation from Global R&D department)
- Leading qualification and implementation of new materials, new suppliers and new process technologies while considering system integrity
- Supervision and qualification of coating technology investments with responsibility for specifications of coating equipment and process parameter
- Foster conception and conversion of quality systems in extrusion coating
- Initiate and lead of global technology exchange as well as best practice for coating
- Initiate, lead and ensuring of global standardization and best practice projects
- Supervision and auditing of quality-relevant process equipment and production parameter, safety and environmental regulation
- Member of steering committees: IAM, Task Forces, Extended Polymer Team, CAPEX, etc
You bring these skills, experience & education
- University degree or equivalent (Master, Engineer, Technician)
- At least 5 years of working in production industry, knowledge of production and quality management processes in packaging industry
- Knowledge of raw materials (polymer, board, aluminum), plastics engineering, web handling as well as multiple coating- and laminating technologies
- Travel up to 25%
