 Project Manager SAP S/4HANA
 
As Project Manager SAP S/4HANA – Business IT / Digital Projects, you will play a key role in SIG’s global SAP S/4HANA transformation journey. 
You will bridge the gap between SIG’s existing SAP ECC environment and the future SAP S/4HANA solution, ensuring that business requirements are translated into effective, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
Working closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and our system integrator, you will help drive best practices, simplify processes, and ensure that SAP S/4HANA delivers real business value while avoiding unnecessary complexity and custom developments.
 
 
Key responsibilities
 
  • Act as an internal SAP S/4HANA subject matter expert within Program Phoenix, providing functional guidance and expertise.
  • Support the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA processes aligned with SIG’s operational requirements.
  • Analyze existing SAP ECC processes and customizations, identifying opportunities to simplify, optimize, or replace legacy solutions with SAP standard capabilities.
  • Support Fit-Gap analysis and help define the best approach between SAP standard functionality and required developments.
  • Evaluate and govern WRICEF objects (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) to ensure alignment with SAP best practices.
  • Review functional specifications and solution designs provided by the system integrator to ensure quality, feasibility, and business alignment.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to ensure SAP solutions support end-to-end processes, including: Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, Inventory and Warehouse Management, Financial processes
  • Support sprint delivery activities by clarifying requirements, validating solutions, and resolving functional questions.
  • Contribute to System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to leverage SAP S/4HANA capabilities, improve processes, and reduce unnecessary complexity.
  • Support architecture decisions and integration strategies across SAP and connected applications.
 
You bring these skills, experience & education
 
  • University degree or equivalent qualification in: Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • 8–12 years of professional experience working with SAP ERP systems.
  • Strong experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
  • Deep understanding of SAP business processes and solution design.
  • Experience with: SAP S/4HANA implementations, SAP ECC environments, Fit-Gap analysis, SAP configuration and business process design, WRICEF development concepts
  • Strong understanding of how SAP supports manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, logistics, and finance processes.
  • Experience working within manufacturing or industrial environments is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to solve complex business problems and support decision-making.
  • Experience collaborating with international teams, business stakeholders, and system integrators.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • SAP S/4HANA certification or extensive hands-on SAP ERP experience is required.
  • Fluent English language skills; German is an advantage.
