We are searching for a Pre Print Manager, responsible for the successful implementation and realization of new packaging design projects and design modifications, ensuring compliance with customer expectations, quality standards, timelines, and budget requirements. This role serves as the key interface between customers, agencies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the entire prepress  process, from project initiation to final artwork approval.
 
 
Key responsibilities
 
 

 

  • Manage and coordinate the end-to-end preprint process for new packaging designs and artwork changes.
  • Act as the main contact for customers, agencies, repro houses, and cylinder suppliers throughout design projects.
  • Organize and lead project kick-off meetings and align project timelines with all stakeholders.
  • Review and validate repro files, proofs, separations, and colours   to ensure compliance with quality and printing standards.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments of new packaging designs according to company specifications and artwork guidelines.
  • Coordinate project schedules, approvals, and deliverables to ensure on-time execution.
  • Collaborate with Production, Sales, Quality, Marketing, and Global Technology teams on project implementation and process improvements.
  • Maintain project-related data and documentation in SAP, including print numbers, timelines, and purchase orders.
 
 
 
You bring these skills, experience & education
 
 
  • 3–5 years of experience in packaging printing, rotogravure printing, prepress/repro services, or a related field.
  • Vocational training or technical qualification in Printing Technology, Packaging Printing, and Prepress, or Graphic Arts.
  • Strong knowledge of printing technologies, color management, repro processes, and packaging artwork development.
  • Experience working with Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP/workflow management systems.
  • Fluent English and German; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Strong customer focus, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive, quality-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
