Head of Market Controlling (m/f/d)

  

Starting immediately, we are looking for a Head of Market Controlling (m/f/d) to join our team in Linnich (NRW) on a full-time basis.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Delivering and ensuring strong financial governance, transparency, and performance rigor across the European commercial organization
  • Creating high-impact commercial analyses across pricing, margins, profitability, market investments, and scenario planning
  • Translating financial insights into actionable recommendations for strategic and commercial decision-making, acting as a trusted sparring partner to European Sales and business leadership
  • Owning and continuously enhancing budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the European commercial organization
  • Contributing to the development and execution of the European commercial strategy as part of the extended European Leadership Team
  • Leading, developing, and inspiring the team to deliver best-in-class business support

 

You bring these skills, experience & education

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance, with a strong focus on commercial controlling
  • FP&A experience is preferred but not essential 
  • Proven leadership experience managing regional or multinational finance teams in a matrix organization
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and commercial performance
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and strong analytical skills
  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
