HR Business Partner (m/w/d)

 

 
Key responsibilities
  • Support the business leader in driving the performance of the business function.
  • Implement leading-edge people practices that contribute to SIG's overall success.
  • Perform all local administrative HR processes related to parental leave, temporary/leased workers, training, internships, retirement, personnel development, recruiting, etc., including document creation, file management, and data maintenance in SAP-HR.
  • Identify, create (together with Senior HRBP or Head of People & Culture), and drive the people plan in conjunction with all HR subjects, including Talent Development & Learning, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Surveys, and Headcount / Workforce Planning.
  • Provide a commercially focused, legally compliant generalist HR service to the function by working through the Business Service Center (BSC) and keeping them constantly up to date.
  • Discuss functional needs with the Senior HRBP or Head of People & Culture and support contracting with the wider HR community, including Centers of Excellence (CoE) and BSC, to deliver a people plan that aligns with functional (business area and HR) and regional strategies.
  • Work with business leaders and line managers to deliver the people plan and ensure it remains a high priority on the agenda.
  • Support coaching and development of line managers, building their skills and confidence to successfully manage and lead their teams.
  • Manage projects with a medium degree of complexity, including reorganizations, and support the delivery of organizational change using Change Management tools.
  • Use tools and processes to deliver on relevant HR and business KPIs, meet targets, challenge assumptions, and drive improvements.
  • Represent the function to local Works Councils, inform them about organizational and people activities, cooperate on codetermination matters, and negotiate company agreements.

 

You bring these skills, experience & education
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or professional experience in Human Resources with specialist knowledge in HR and organizational development, change management, strategic HR, and labor law.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, including working with works councils and union representatives.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels of management, as well as with external vendors and national authorities.
  • Ability to quickly integrate into an international environment with cultural diversity to successfully realize the company’s goals through internal and external business relationships.
  • Business fluency in both written and spoken German and English.
