We are seeking a Digital Architect to lead the design and implementation of our Azure-based digital and AI platform that enables scalable and secure product delivery across IT and OT domains. This individual will shape the platform architecture in close collaboration with the Enterprise Architect, ensuring alignment with our overall digital ecosystem. The role bridges plant-floor operations with cloud innovation, integrating OT sensor data from PLCs, SCADA, and IoT devices into a centralized, governed Lakehouse environment.

Key Job Functions:
1) Architect and implement the Azure digital platform using IoT Hub, IoT Edge, Synapse, Databricks, and Purview
2) Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect to align platform capabilities with broader enterprise architecture and digital roadmap
3)  Design data ingestion flows and edge-to-cloud integration from OT systems (SCADA, PLC, MQTT, OPC-UA)
4) Define platform standards for ingestion, transformation (Bronze → Silver → Gold), and downstream AI/BI consumption
5) Ensure security, governance, and compliance (ISA-95, Purdue Model)
6) Lead technical validation of platform components and guide platform scaling across global sites
7) Apply microservices architecture patterns using containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for platform modularity and scalability

Requirements:

1) 8+ years in architecture or platform engineering roles
2) Strong hands-on experience with Azure services (Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, IoT Edge/Hub)
3) Deep understanding of industrial data protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus)
4) Proven experience designing IT/OT integration solutions in manufacturing environments
5) Familiar with Medallion architecture, time-series data, and Azure security best practices
6) TOGAF or Azure Solutions Architect certification required
