Forecast and Data Specialist
As a Forecast and Data Specialist, you will oversee cash-out payments to customers and prepare and maintain monthly rebate accruals and periodic customer bonuses in line with contracts and agreements, including validation of the resulting credit notes. You will also be responsible for providing sleeves and caps pricing for the FC, BU, and OPLA exercises.
Key responsibilities
- Read, apply and coordinate with customer rebate conditions based on contracts, agreements, business cases, etc.
- Create, maintain and update a “master bonus file” containing all customer rebate conditions for monthly accrual
- Calculate and provide monthly accruals required for customer rebates liabilities
- Provides and maintains SAP Internal Order numbers for rebate positing
- Receive approved sleeves forecast from sales or SCM and updates master bonus file accordingly
- Create file, collate and calculate sleeves & caps pricing for forecast, budget & 5YP OPLA
- Create individual customer bonus working file, get sales colleagues alignment and ensure rebate accruals can cover the agreed estimated bonus release
- Prepares pricing analysis monthly for FP&A team
- Calculates customer rebates for sales for the approval of credit notes, this calculation is attached in SAP and used for audit reviews
- Review, create and issue SAP credit notes for approved rebate releases
- Provides detailed files per customer to auditor for year customer rebate sample validation
You bring these skills, experience & education
- Univeristy studies in Administration/Business/Finance
- 6-10 years of experience
- Exceptional Excel skills
- SAP expert for S/D module and pricing master data
- Knowledge of arithmetic: percentage, discount, interest or commissions calculations, statistics and their applications.
- Financial understanding of impact on price conditions in liability and accrual accounting
- Advanced level of English
- Quality orientation especially eye for detail and communication skills
