Maintenance Technician - Electrical

 

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenence Technician - Electrical to join our team, supporting the maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing operations. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of electrical systems, equipment, and automation technologies in a dynamic production environment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Able to conduct all wiring jobs across all equipment and electrical installations.
  • Able to build control panels, fault-find all production equipment including monitoring of PLC programs, design, and manufacture PLC projects, conduct basic electronic and robot repairs, and design electrical circuits for new and existing equipment upgrades.
  • Conduct autonomous electrical maintenance and installations of all electrical equipment within the organisation.
  • Design circuits for new and existing equipment upgrades and implement them into the plant with reviews of the effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Keep all forms of waste to a minimum and participate in identifying waste reduction and implementing waste programs.
  • Read electrical drawings and conduct project work in full.

 

YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Unrestricted South Australian Electrical Licence.
  • Industrial Preventative Maintenance experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of PLC systems.
  • Experience with industrial electrical breakdowns.
  • High level of initiative
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the packaging and plastics industries will be beneficial
