SubLedger Senior Analyst

~ Determined period contract: 2 years. 

Key responsibilities
  • Maintain accounting records for assigned business units and prepare supporting documents to assist in understanding and analyzing financial statements.
  • Manage inter-company accounts, including clearings and reconciliations, while preparing necessary documentation for financial analysis.
  • Issue inter-company invoices.
  • Track employee expenses and receivables, preparing journal entries for account adjustments.
  • Post bank-related transactions, including manual bank and petty cash postings, and perform account clearings. Prepare month-end reconciliations for bank accounts and petty cash.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual (sub)ledger account reconciliations for assigned company codes.
  • Perform and/or participate in month-end close activities, including posting necessary journal entries and reviewing accounts for discrepancies in collaboration with the Group accounting team and other business partners, covering the following areas:
    • Down payment verification and posting.
    • Discount postings.
    • Monitoring advance payments and processing recurring entries.
    • Execute payment proposals and process regular payments according to the payment calendar, including special payments.
    • Provide sub-ledger information to external/internal auditors upon request and ensure timely execution and review of sub-ledger-related internal controls.

 

You bring these skills, experience & education
  • Educational background or qualifications in finance.
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting roles (accounts payable, accounts receivable or sub-ledger) within a multinational corporate setting.
  • Capability to quickly understand complex business structure.
  • Accuracy in handling and delivering numerical data.
  • Ability and drive to change processes continuously and efficiently.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Accounting ERP experience and MS Office knowledge.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel.
  • Fluency in English.
