Sleeves Operations Regional Controlling Analyst

~ Determined period contract: 2 years

Key responsibilities
  • Timely execution of tasks aligned with month-end closing reporting deadlines, adhering to established procedures.
  • Maintain the accounting records for assigned business units and preparing supporting documents required in understanding and analyzing the financial statements. Beinge able to explain and apply in the day-to-day processes (i.e. activities) the principles of cost center accounting knowledge. Prepare requested financial information for disclosure in the related statements.
  • Maintaining cost accounting system and cost ledger, performs month-end cost accounting close and all related tasks for inventories valuation, including related value adjustments.
  • Settlement of all SAP/CO elements (Cost Centers CC, Projects WBS, Internal Orders IA) and processing of the SAP/CO modules during the month and for the month end closing
  • Coordination of the interface between SAP/CO and SAP/FI and SAP/BW
  • Supports and provides cost accounting related information to external/internal auditors on request; ensures timely execution and review of related internal controls.
  • Settlement run, general cost settings and allocation key responsible; consolidation activities and profit center mapping;
  • Provides inputs to the forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Booking of provisions and accruals 

 

You bring these skills, experience & education
  • 2-3 years of experience in a related role (Cost Accounting, Controlling, Financial Analyst).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Solid accounting knowledge, including understanding the implications of current accounting tasks and IFRS standards. Ability to clarify complex situations/events impacting control and propose solutions in accordance with IFRS.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP knowledge represents an advantage)
  • Fluency in English.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
