Internal Controls Senior Analyst

- Ensures a proper control environment and documentation of internal controls;
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal control policies and procedures;
- Document, maintain and update the correspondent work procedures;
- Assist in the groups internal control testing;
- Support the preparation of reports on control findings and provide recommendations for corrective actions;
- Work closely with the regional internal control managers, finance teams and Group Accounting and Reporting team to ensure compliance with IFRS and company's policies & procedures;
- Monitor financial and operational processes to detect and mitigate potential risks;
- Collaborates with internal and external auditors and/or consultants;
- Stay updated on changes in internal control regulations and best practices;
- Support the Group Accounting and Reporting department with various accounting and reporting tasks.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Group Internal Control tool, ensuring data accuracy and usability;
- Assist in balance sheet (BS) reviews and investigate unusual or unexpected balances or movements;
- Analyze consolidation data to detect anomalies or risks and provide recommendations for resolution;
- Takes initiative in process improvements, actively participating in the standardization and enhancement of the company’s processes and different projects;
- Finance-related education and qualification;
- Fluency in English;
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting area or within a multinational corporate setting, financial reporting related area is a plus;
- Knowledge of financial statements components and related: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statement and related notes;
- Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and auditing standards
- IT reporting tools knowledge (Cognos & TM1, MS Office, SAP, infor LN) is an advantage;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with cross-functioneal teams
