Factoring program implementation Project Manager

We are looking for a Factoring program implementation Project Manager. In this role, you will be in charge of implementing a factoring program within our BIB&SP EU business and the day-to-day delivery and administration of the factoring program for a determined period of time, ensuring alignment between business needs and customer expectations. This role requires strong project management skills and financial acumen. Always acting as first point of contact, the Factoring program implementation Project Manager is required to deliver exceptional levels of customer service and to build and maintain strong working partnerships / relationships with all stakeholders.

 

Key responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution:
    Manage a varied workload with regular interruptions, requiring flexibility and ability to prioritise tasks.
    Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines and ensure factoring project is delivered on time and within scope. 
    Review of the O2C internal processes to assess readiness for implementation and work with all stakeholders for preparing the factoring implementation ( contracts, ordering & invoicing, dunning & collection) and day-to-day management.
    Prepare and oversee the accounting process to be set-up in the related accounting software and applications;
    Set-up and preparation of related information and reports to be exchanged with the external parties.
    Ensure all performance targets and deadlines are achieved.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure project alignment. 
  • Risk Management:
    Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and address project roadblocks. 
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Track project progress, analyze performance metrics, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. 
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain accurate project documentation, create reports, and communicate project status to all stakeholders. 
  • Process Optimization:
    Identify areas for improvement in the O2C end-to-end process and factoring implementation process, furthermore recommend solutions. 
  • Internal and External Client Training and Support:
    Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to clients on the use of factoring services, including both internal (e.g. sales and customer support organization, finance) and external customers.

 

You bring these skills, experience & education
  • Financial & Business Acumen: Knowledge of factoring principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards; end-to-end O2C process knowledge is a must. Previous experience with the implementation of a factoring program is an advantage.
  • Project Management Expertise: Experience in project planning, execution, and monitoring, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies. 
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, build relationships, and facilitate collaboration. 
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. 
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
