 Quality & Application Specialist

 

SUMMARY OF ROLE

Serves as a key interface between the organization and its customers, ensuring that quality-related expectations and requirements are met. This role involves managing customer complaints, conducting root cause analyses, and leading on-site technical visits to resolve issues, support audits, and strengthen customer relationships.  Quality Manager will serve as backup for this role.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct on-site customer visits to address quality concerns, provide technical support, and ensure proper product performance. 

• Collaborate with customers to understand functional issues, collect feedback, and identify potential product or process improvements.

• Coordinate internal cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions, following the global directive.

• Monitor effectiveness of actions and ensure timely resolution.

• Conduct performance meetings with customers and lead customer audits and visits related to quality concerns.

• Communicate investigation results, resolutions, and improvement plans to customers in a clear and professional manner. 

• Identify areas for quality and process improvement based on field data and customer feedback.

• Provide regular quality metrics, trend analysis, and reports to both internal stakeholders and customers.

• Analyze recurring issues and work with engineering, production, and QA teams to eliminate systemic problems.

• Conduct the NPS process for quality: contact selection, contact with customers and internal stakeholders, as well as defining and monitoring the action plan.

 

 

YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or equivalent work experience in Manufacturing.
  • Ability to work all shifts and perform overtime
  • Previous experience as a quality control inspector preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and Power Point presentations.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
