Customer Service and Supply Chain Coordinator - Libya

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order-to-Cash Management — Process customer orders in SAP with accuracy and within agreed timelines; validate order terms against agreed customer contracts; ensure all ordered volumes are invoiced before the monthly closing cut-off.
  • OTIF & Customer Service KPIs — Deliver monthly shipment, phasing, and customer service targets; reconcile order quantities versus loaded quantities to protect OTIF performance.
  • Demand & Supply Alignment — Track orders on hand against the sales forecast; escalate gaps and risks to the Team Leader early; participate in weekly sales and demand control reviews to resolve order issues.
  • Production & Dispatch Coordination — Join periodic calls with regional SCM, sourcing plant production planners, and logistics teams covering production planning, prioritization, and dispatch; reprioritize orders during emergencies or capacity bottlenecks; align order sizes with logistics and production requirements.
  • Export Documentation & Trade Finance — Prepare and verify shipment, Letter of Credit, and commercial documents; review LC clauses and payment terms with banks; coordinate with insurance, and inspection companies to fulfil all documentation requirements; review and sign order, invoice, and bank documents.
  • Logistics & Vessel Performance — Monitor vessel sailing KPIs (rollovers, delayed documentation or manifestation, customer postponement requests) and drive corrective actions with freight forwarders; ensure information flows end-to-end across sales, customers, plants, and forwarders.
  • Plant Stock Management — Review and action stock reports from sourcing plants; monitor slow-moving and non-performing SKUs and coordinate turnaround actions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Financial Compliance — Ensure monthly cross-charging of cylinders and freight to customers as per contract; post reclassification documents per finance requirements; ensure on-time cost and revenue booking of supplier invoices; flag commercial or payment issues and on-hold orders.
  • Cross-Functional Interface — Act as the single point of contact across sales, customers, sourcing plants, quality, finance, and forwarders; route customer quality claims to the quality department and follow through to resolution.

You bring these skills, experience & education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in order management, export customer service, or supply chain coordination — preferably in FMCG, packaging, or manufacturing.
  • Hands-on export documentation experience is essential: Letters of Credit, certificates of origin, document legalization, and bank document processing.
