Field Service Engineer Serbia

 

 
Key responsibilities
 
  • Installs and repairs filling and packaging machines, in field installations
  • Carries out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults
  • Diagnoses breakdown problems and analyzes malfunctions
  • Fits new parts and makes sure equipment is working correctly
  • Deals with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
  • Documents all inspections, maintenance, service work, and submits paperwork in a timely basis
  • Studies blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to install/set up machines or machine upgrades
  • Consults with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance
  • Advises management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and gives suggestions for improvements
  • Complies with and ensures compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies

 

 
You bring these skills, experience & education
 
  • Successfully completed vocational training as technician in electrical engineering or mechatronics or a comparable qualification
  • Vocational Experience as Field Service Engineer in the field of automation technology, preferably in the food and beverage industry or packaging industry
  • Experience in managing software updates, troubleshooting of distributed automated systems and mechanical equipment
  • Experience with installation and maintenance of  process control systems (PLC, LMS, MES, Industrial PC, Microsoft Server, switches, network, etc.)
  • Strong customer orientation, excellent communication skills
  • Thrive to give excellent service to our customers
  • Analytical and structured way of thinking and acting
  • Willing to travel up to 75-100% mainly within Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary, but also within Europe
  • Valid car driving license
  • Good written and spoken Serbian as well as English language skills required
