Plant Controller
As part of a dynamic multinational group, we are seeking a Plant Controller to join our team and take full ownership of the plant’s financial function.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance Bag-in-Box and Spouted Pouches Europe, the Plant Controller will oversee all financial activities of the plant, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment with business goals. This role includes managing a team of 3 professionals and collaborating across departments to drive financial excellence.
- Oversee general accounting, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Lead controlling and financial reporting activities to ensure accurate and timely data for decision-making
- Manage the Financial Controlling, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate standards
- Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and performance analyses to support strategic planning.
- Develop and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Act as a key partner to operational leadership, providing financial insights and recommendations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven 5+ years of experience in financial management within a manufacturing environment.
- Solid knowledge of Spanish GAAP and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken), Spanish language desirable.
- Solid knowledge of financial systems, ERP platforms, and Excel.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
